Velvet for the Holidays

I’m all about stepping outside of my comfort zone, especially for the holidays (hello, sequins!) That’s why I love this velvet number so much, it’s got a gorgeous shape and looks beautiful on many different skin tones and body shapes with the ruching in the middle. (Have to hide that tummy from all of the Christmas sweets right?) how-to-style-velvet-for-the-holidayshow-to-style-velvet-for-the-holidaysI’m obsessed with the back of this dress because it’s super sexy, not too much and quite alluring because you can’t see how low it goes from the front. This dress can also be worn for many different events, in fact, I have already worn it twice so far! For work, I put a bandeau underneath, put some tights on and wear mules or booties instead of stilettos, paired with a blazer to top if off. how-to-style-velvet-for-the-holidayshow-to-style-velvet-for-the-holidayshow-to-style-velvet-for-the-holidayshow-to-style-velvet-for-the-holidayshow-to-style-velvet-for-the-holidayshow-to-style-velvet-for-the-holidaysI don’t typically opt for green in my clothing, but I’m really loving this emerald hue. This particular dress is from SheInside but I have rounded up my holiday favourites below. Check it out!how-to-style-velvet-for-the-holidaysDress: c/o SheIn | Shoes: c/o AMIClubwear |

To participate a formal party you always need a good dress. For me, I love wearing a long sleeve swing dress. It makes me look sexy and it’s comfortable.
