With the weather getting worse and worse by the day, I’m all about taking my favourite pieces and changing them up with accessories. I mean, it’s not like I can wear a miniskirt and a cami anytime soon right? Thankfully, my glasses from Clearly.ca have been my go-to for elevating my style. Read on for tips on how to rework your favourite pieces by changing up your accessories.I’m really loving the pajama trend as of late, and right now I can only wear this lightweight top from Dynamite with pants, a jacket and likely another layer or two. What’s great about changing things up with accessories is it doesn’t matter how cold it is outside, you can always look chic with a handbag or glasses to add to your look. I’m loving these glasses from Clearly.ca which I like to call my ‘Grandpa Glasses’ because my grandfather actually owns a pair. I feel they add something special to this look and it’s nice giving my eyes a break from contacts every now and then too. What I especially love about Clearly.ca is how many options they provide on their website, if you don’t think you can pull off this particular style, don’t worry because they have beautiful frames suited for everyone. The great thing is they offer their pieces at a fraction of the price, you really can’t go wrong, it’s such a seamless way of purchasing new frames (and basically a new look).Another fun way to elevate your style is switching up handbags, if you can, ditch the tote and opt for a fun crossbody. My style tip? When I don’t feel like carrying around my tote, I carry a crossbody like this beauty from Hieleven and sometimes a canvas bag to hold extra things like my water bottle, books, magazines, etc.Of course, what’s an outfit without some jewelry, right? I am looking this gorgeous necklace from Standout Boutique called the Nicole style, it’s a gorgeous shape and is made out of 24K gold plated thick pendant. And what look is complete without a chic phone case? I’m in love with this marble one from Richmond & Finch. So gorgeous. Marble and gold, yes, please. What are your tips for elevating your style?
