With the weather starting to (finally) warm up, my summer wardrobe is also making an appearance. With this, my white jeans and tops are coming out to play and I couldn’t be more excited. However, it can be stressful wearing white, so I’m sharing 3 tips on how to wear your whites with confidence, and it’s just in time for Memorial Day.
1.Wear A White Top to Appear Taller
This is such a godsend for me as I err on the shorter side, who knew just by switching up your top, you could also be adding some inches? By wearing a white top, you’re creating a column of colour. If you want to break up the monochromatic look, simply pair a blazer, cardigan or denim jacket like I did. I’m really loving strapless (and off the shoulder) white tops as of late, there are so many fun outfits you can create.
I love adding a pop of colour to my monochromatic look with a bright shoe or bag. In my case, I went all for it with these floral printed pumps. It’s a great way to add an unexpected element into the mix. And I know I always feel more confident when I’m rocking a fabulous heel.
I love wearing white in the warmer season as it makes for such a cooler outfit when the starts to heat up. What I don’t love? Pit stains. You have to be extra careful when wearing white, so that’s why I always come prepared. Lately, I’ve been using (and loving) Secret Clinical Strength Clear Gel and Secret Clinical Strength Invisible Solid because they both provide 2x the sweat protection vs. an ordinary antiperspirant. Obviously, this is crucial when the temps rise. With Secret Clinical Strength Deodorant, you can wear white with confidence, and it doesn’t matter the fabric or style, Secret’s got your back.
