Best of 2016

2016 was a whirlwind of a year. It had its major ups and of course some downs too. I am thoroughly excited for the New Year because I know this little space of mine is going to continue to grow and prosper all thanks to the wonderful community and support behind me. I know this sounds awfully cliche, but it’s true, I wouldn’t be where I am today without all of the help and guidance of my family, friends and of course loyal followers. I can’t wait to see what 2017 holds and I wanted to create a roundup of my favourite looks and moments from the past year. Enjoy and Happy New Year, all the best to you in birthday post featuring my dog, Bella. In this post, I shared 23 things I wish I knew when I was 19 years old, a bit of reflection and celebration in fun collaboration with one of my all-time favourite Canadian brands, my first event at French Sole wearing a Betsey Johnson dress, of favourite outfit I wore when I was experiencing a fashion rut, tips here for trying to get out of of my favourite collaborations this year with Lyst and receiving my first ever Chloe a necklace from my first ever jewellery collection collaboration with Standout up with FASHION Magazine and ECCO Shoes, one of my favourite Canadian publications, was a great favourite look working this year’s eponymous ’70s launch of Standout Boutique’s and my jewellery collaboration, the ‘Inspire’ time at one of my favourite hotels in Whistler, Nita Lake Lodge for the launch of their patio. Travel was pretty consistent in 2016, but I can’t wait to increase it in the New my dog, Bella to the pumpkin patch in her pumpkin costume no with TopShop this year was a huge opportunity for me as I have always loved their clothes and it was super fun going to the store and picking everything out.A favourite look, edgy but classic favourite look from this year as well as a wonderful partnership with Kelly & to Tofino, BC for the first time this year was a huge highlight, such a beautiful resort at Pacific Sands Portugal this year was amazing, so much to see and do. I learnt so much and it was incredible to travel somewhere so different than where I usually again, Portugal, shooting in the Algarve region was spectacular, such a beautiful destination, it honestly didn’t feel like real a favourite look, the pants are very comfortable and I really like my hair here (hehe).

And there you have it, huge thanks to everyone who’s been involved in this passion project of mine and again, a huge thank you to the wonderful community who’s followed along.
