Tips for Looking Chic in Sweaters

Now that it’s December the weather is starting to get cooler and it’s the season of layering, which means knits and more knits. I am all about chunky sweaters but hate it when they don’t flatter me because they’re too big and bulky, that’s why I’m giving some style tips on how to look chic in sweaters instead of

  1. Pair with sleek bottoms instead of baggy. In my opinion, a chunky knit looks good paired with leather leggings, you don’t want to pair them with baggy jeans because it really doesn’t give you that much shape.
  2. Pair with sleek heels, instead of wearing flat boots or sneakers, pair your sweater with heels to give you a bit more height (gosh knows I need it, and in my opinion really does wonders!).
  3. Make your sweater look a bit more sexy by pairing it with a black lacy bralette, this one is from Adore Me and I love it, it’s honestly come in handy so many times.

They have a huge selection of goodies to choose from. I really love this burgundy one I’m wearing because it’s super cozy, soft and thick enough to be warm with a bralette. how-to-look-chic-in-sweatershow-to-look-chic-in-sweatersSweater: c/o SheInside | Leggings: Simons | Shoes: c/o AMIClubwear | Bag: c/o Kelly Tooke | Watch: c/o Daniel Wellington | Ring: c/o Mejuri | Necklace: c/o Standout Boutique |

Great suggestions, I like leggings and heels as well with chunky sweater, short booties with wedge heels work well too.
