With the summer officially here, it’s time to get your prep on for summer travel adventures. I wanted to share my go-to luggage that I can’t wait to take away in a few weeks when I venture around Vancouver for a short getaway.
There is nothing worse than having luggage that is too heavy to carry. I have made the mistake many times by opting for a bag that was just too bulky and strained both my back and arms. Not only is it hard to find luggage that’s lightweight enough, but I can never find any that’s luxurious enough to match my aesthetic.
Thankfully, I have found just the bags to take me (and all my belongings) away this summer. Meet, Lipault Paris. Lipault is from Paris and is not only luxury luggage, but it’s efficiency at its finest. This style, in particular, is called the Weekend Bag (fittingly enough!) What I love about this bag is not only does it act like a duffle bag with the arm straps, but it has a secret handle on the side to wheel around, with two handy wheels on the other side.
It might sound crazy, but I’ve been on the hunt for a bag that lets you wheel sideways and not just from behind. When you travel a lot, you really get to know what you like. So, not only is the functionality of this bag completely on point, but it’s very lightweight too, making it super comfy to carry around. It’s also the definition of flight fashion.
And last but not least, can we talk about the colour? It’s the perfect purple because it’s not too light and girly and it’s not a boring plain colour either. This is actually one of my favourite colours and is the colour of my old bedroom.
Now that my luggage hunt is over, I wanted to share one of my other great finds, which is this v-neck strappy jumpsuit that is the most comfortable (and chic) airport look. I love to be comfortable when I fly, but I don’t want to sacrifice my style and thankfully this jumpsuit is loose enough to wear on a flight and chic enough to hop off and go straight to an event after the flight. I paired this jumpsuit with my comfortable loafers that are all the rage right now. The open back is great because it gives your feet room to breathe in a squishy airplane seat.
If I haven’t convinced you yet, let me tell you something else. Lipault is now available in Canada with the Vancouver location as the 1st “stand-alone” boutique in North America. If you’re based in the US, don’t worry because there are currently only 2 “shop in shops” that exist in North America and the US has got them both.
Are you located in Vancouver? Check out their new store location at the McArthur Glen Mall!
